Chelsea Hollingsworth grew up in Long Island, New York to Guyanese Parents. From an incredibly early age, Chelsea demonstrated an eagerness to learn and to help others. By age 9, she started her own foundation, albeit, unofficially, where she would gather necessities, clothing and anything of value and distribute them to kids who needed them.

Eventually, through her Guyanese lineage, she founded her own charity, ‘The Chelsea Foundation’ in Georgetown Guyana. This epitomizes Chelsea the philanthropist. Chelsea attended the Greenvale School where she excelled academically and otherwise.

She has since moved on to Portledge school where her leadership ability has already been recognized. She was recently elected as secretary of the minority club and is a current member of the law club.

At home, Chelsea is like any other teenager. She’s respectfully outspoken, honest, and loyal to both her friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys tennis and baking. Her hope is to transition to college where she will follow her dreams.
